1.    Consume lot of liquid like coconut water, juice, boiled (mild) water, milk. Liquid removes the toxic out and maintains the pH level in body also regulates the blood flow, digestion that is important for better health.
 
2.    Papaya, Kiwifruit is proven and most effective for instant relief in Chikungunya. I myself consumed Papaya and papaya leaves in boiled water every day for 1 week during Chikungunya and got relief from fever and pain in first 3 days only. It purifies the blood and increases platelets.  
 
3.    Take complete rest and don’t travel much to cure the body pain.  Apply coconut oil massage on the body joints. Take milk with Raisins while sleeping in night. It boosts up energy and relieves the pain effectively.
 
4.    Don’t use any medicine/ vaccines and antibiotics during Chikungunya.  Take Paracetamol 650 mg tablet (500 mg for kids) only three times a day.
5.    As Chikungunya is transmitted by mosquito bites so protection from mosquitoes is the best prevention. Use Mosquito Repellents in house, keep nearby environment clean, avoid water logging so that mosquito will not get place to born.
